Welcome to
Core Wellness and Physical Therapy in Milford OH

Core Wellness and Physical Therapy is a place where we don’t believe that just compromising movement is an acceptable strategy for life. Providing physical therapy to residents of Milford, Loveland, Goshen, Mariemont, and Anderson, Ohio, we are distinguished for taking on the care and recovery of people who are just plain tired of only temporary results to their problems.

We treat the back and neck pain of busy professionals who are frustrated that every morning it hurts just to get out of bed.

We reach out to the moms who are embarrassed with unpredictable bladders or afraid to tell their partners that sex is now painful to them.

We invite in the women who are trying to get pregnant or are currently pregnant.

We treat the athletes who want to run a charity marathon but are plagued by a recurring injury.

Our clients are not numbers: They are real people with real problems that hold them back from living their real lives as completely as possible. We don’t believe that’s okay.

Don’t compromise; we can help you.

In the summer of 2009, I suffered a very complex and life-altering injury. When I was finally able to start physical therapy, I began a search to find a physical therapist who could help me. After months of searching, meeting with many PTs, and seeing my hope for improvement slipping away, I was fortunate to be referred to Kristin Thomas, DPT. By the end of my first session with Kristin, I knew that I had found the right person to assist me on my path to recovery. Whereas other PTs were baffled by my complex conditions and unsure of how to help, Kristen’s unique combination of orthopedic and manual physical therapy enabled me to regain strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Most importantly, Kristin’s treatments reduced my chronic pain significantly and as a result gave me something I thought was gone forever – hope. As an added bonus, Kristin was also able to help me with several musculoskeletal injuries I had sustained from years of playing competitive sports. For anyone in need of an incredibly talented, compassionate and highly qualified physical therapist, I give Kristin Thomas my highest recommendation.

I want to excitedly share with you that I ran a 10.8 mile trail race this morning. Barely any pain during the run or now, several hours later. I want to thank you again for helping me so very much :)

I came to Kristin a couple months ago because I was having a lot of knee pain. From the very first visit, I could tell she was extremely knowledgeable and patient-friendly! She asked questions and had me do various movement tests and then she did some hands-on work. I really felt like she was concerned with treating the whole person, and I left her office feeling significantly better and armed with a very manageable list of exercises to do. Since then, I've been back a few more times and she's altered the exercises as I've gotten stronger. Now, I feel like my old self and am back to running again! Thanks, Kristin!

I went to see Kristin so I could get my body back in check. After gall bladder surgery, I felt off and my husband and I were also trying to conceive, but having difficulty. Kristin was so personable, yet very professional. She evaluated me and then worked with me in a variety of ways: myofascial release, acupressure, and healing touch. After only a couple of sessions, my body feels better …and we’re expecting! I highly recommend Kristin! Thank-you!

Scar Tissue and its impact

Scar Tissue and its impact
I was having a conversation with a friend the other day, and we were having a great time catching up on kids/jobs/husbands/health.  In the conversation, she mentioned her doctor had told her she had "secondary infertility." She had 2 beautiful children already, which she mentioned were conceived "by just looking at each other," so she assumed trying for a third child would be similar. After 9 months of trying, she consulted her OB.  After a few tests were run, she was ...

Often, the pain is not what you would expect.  I have helped women 2 weeks post partum to 35 years p...

Physical Therapists can do that?

Physical Therapists can do that?
Physical Therapists can do that? This has become a common conversation lately.A friend says, "My neck hurts. Do you think I should see my Chiropractor or Doctor for this?"  While this is a reasonable question, I am always surprised because the majority of the time, my friend knows that I am a Physical Therapist.  I respond with something such as, "Why don't you let me look at your neck.  I am a Physical Therapist, you know.""I didn't know a Physical Therapi...

Our Philosophy

  • If you are looking for someone who can get to the root of your pain and mobility problems, we can help. We are aware that you may have tried other roads to wellness, perhaps even including physical therapy, and you are not achieving the results you want.
  • We encourage you to let us bring our expertise to your problem. We conduct a thorough assessment before we launch any treatment because we want to know the real source of your problem and how we can help.
  • We spend one-on-one time with you and our sessions last a full hour because we know that’s what it takes to get the results you need. You will see a licensed and experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy each time so even the most subtle changes are noted and recorded.
  • Our goal is to help you live the full life that you want.
